William James Kirkpatrick: Composer of Some Familiar Hymns

William Kirkpatrick Wm. J. Kirkpatrick (1838-1921) was an American sacred music composer and publisher. With John R. Sweney, he published over eighty Gospel song collections during a period of seventeen years. He wrote the music for the following familiar hymns:
