missionary who faithfully served His Saviour in China, India, and Africa.
His motto was: "If Jesus Christ is God and died for me, then no sacrifice can be too

Mrs.
Priscilla ("Scilla") Studd was born Priscilla
Livingstone Stewart in Lisburn, near Belfast, Ireland. She
met C.T. in China where she had gone as a missionary. They
were married in 1888 and had four daughters (Grace, Dorothy,
Edith, Pauline). Two sons died in infancy. They spent most
of the last 16 years of their married life apart with C.T. in
Africa and she in England where she labored with the newly formed
mission (Worldwide Evangelization Crusade). She died in 1929.
