A. T. Pierson (1837-1911) was an American pastor, Bible expositor and editor of The Missionary Review of the World. He succeeded Charles Spurgeon at Metropolitan Tabernacle in London (1891-1893); spoke at D. L. Moody's Northfield Conferences and Keswick Convention in England. Consulting editor for the Scofield Reference Bible (1909) for his friend, C. I. Scofield. Wrote the biography, George Müller of Bristol. |
